THE LOVE STORY

Tom & Wei-Li met in La Jolla in 2008 at a Christmas party hosted by two of their friends, who were both in attendance at their Valentine’s Day San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art wedding. Their first date was at Sushi on the Rock just down the street from the venue. Their relationship survived long-distance for over 4 years because many of their guests allowed them to crash on their couches while they visited one another–Wei-Li and Tom were very thankful!

THE CEREMONY

Wei-Li & Tom had their Cocktail Hour before their ceremony. The stood on the dance floor as their guests sat at the dinner tables while their friend Alex performed their ceremony. At the moment they were pronounced husband & wife, Chinese lion dancers burst through the doors and performed a dance in honor of the recent Chinese new year.

SAN DIEGO MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART WEDDING RECEPTION

After a terribly delicious meal (Asian food stations), the bride & groom requested 90s & 2000s rap/hip hop. They had a DIY photo booth and fabulous dessert table. Almost all of their guests celebrated with us the night before at the La Jolla Cove Bridge Club.

Again, I was so honored to be the one and only San Diego wedding DJ that Wei-Li & Tom trusted with their big day…which you can see in the video here.
